Christhian Saavedra is a Student Success Coordinator at Rogers Heritage High School in Arkansas, and the Boys’ Head Coach for the soccer program. He focuses on creating an inclusive environment for his students by providing education that will help them develop global dexterity. Christhian was named 7A Coach of the year (2015-2016, 2020-2021), Arkansas United Soccer Coaches High School  Coach of Significance (2017-2018), Kirksey Middle School Teacher of the Year (2017-2018); and Rogers Public Schools Middle School Teacher of the Year (2017-2018). He earned his BA in Spanish with a Minor in Ethnographic Studies, and his MAT from the University of Arkansas. He is the creator of the podcast Live and Learn and co-creator of the Learning Walk podcast.
